Allison and Vernon

A painter since childhood, with a painter father and printmaker mother, Allison has made a career from painting portraits and murals for the past eight years.

While Allison continues to work as a portrait artist, painting interiors and murals has sharpened her professional focus. She found the homes, businesses and restaurants on the south coast of California - where interior art is a large part of the aesthetic culture - a perfect place to hone her talents.

Now living in England with her husband (a furniture-restorer and typeface designer) Allison is excited to take her business to new heights here. A nation rich in art, both past and present, gives so much inspiration to tap into.

Allison has work showing in a variety of homes, galleries and restaurants, but she especially loves the challenge of making the space itself a work of art. She also finds that working with clients on realizing their vision is one of the distinct joys of mural and interior painting.
