I found clarity! I had my goal – to find professional clarity -- and I conquered it. Having talked out what I really wanted, and worked through all my fears, I feel like I’m going into this next chapter with complete clarity and purpose. It is the most rewarding feeling I’ve had in a long, long time – if ever.
I had been thinking about hiring a coach for a while, as I knew I needed an outside perspective to help me sift through and organize my scattered thoughts, passions, and goals. When Allison and I first connected, I had a lot of different projects going on, many different paths I could choose, and no clarity on which path to follow or pursue. I was longing, if not desperate, to find clarity around which direction to go in so that I could invest my full energy in something and feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
I really appreciated how supportive Allison was, always sincerely acknowledging the work I’d done, which gave me clarity and confidence around the progress I was making and the progress I could make. She kept me on track and focused, clear about my goal, clear about what I’d accomplished, and clear about where I needed to go. In doing this, I was able to tune out the noise and power forward.
I now feel a total sense of confidence, decisiveness and fearlessness: I don’t doubt what I’m doing or feel timid or nervous about it. I believe in it 100%, and though I know there will be challenges, I’m excited to tackle them. I think this is affecting other parts of my life too, as I see myself being more confident and decisive beyond my professional situation too.
